'n' Stuff

Well the above picture is one of Henry's stock photos of the
rifle. I couldn't take a picture of it to make it look any different when in
stock form so I can honestly say the picture above looks exactly like the one I
have. Sometimes it doesn't though. Sometimes it looks like the thumbnail below
(click for the big version) if the sporter stock and a scope is on it. I rarely
have it like that though, it defeats the purpose of the rifle as it's meant to
be; a
self-contained-throw-it-in-the-trunk-saddlebags-backpack-don't-worry-about-it-will-be-there-if-you-need-it-all-purpose-plinker.

PROS:
 |
It breaks down very small. To test out something from a James
Bond Movie I went and put it in my briefcase. Yep it fit. No, I don't carry it
around like that, just wanted to see if it will fit. It's been around since
1959, I'm surprised that more people don't know about them, they're surprised
when they see me with a "stock" and I tell them it's an entire rifle.

It goes together and breaks down easily and quickly. Snap off
butt cap, slide out receiver, slip it on front and tighten with big thumb screw,
slide out barrel and put that in front and tighten with barrel nut (or whatever
it's called). A magazine may already be in receiver if you store it that way and
just take out extra mag from stock (optional) and put butt cap back on.
|
 |
Seems to be rather accurate. Granted I only have used it at 25
yards but I did so standing and using the built-in peep site without adjusting
it.
|
 |
Supposed to be water-proof. I have no intention of testing it in
the bathtub. Water-proof being when all stored in the stock, also it's supposed
to be able to float whether together or apart, assuming the butt cap is in
place.

 |
Lightweight and easy to fire
|
CONS:
 |
JAMMING - JAMMING - JAMMING
It's not even funny anymore. I have to find time to get to the
range so I can see if one of my magazines will work with no problems so I can
adjust the others ones to match it's specs.
The first time out with the rifle, it worked fine.
The second time out, it jammed now and then.
The third time out, it would jam .... (to be continued)
