Just a knife I put together. Knife blade and handle material were purchased at Texas Knifemaker's Supply. I know it no big deal, but it's mine all mine.

The blade and the scales of Bloodwood. At this point I've just drawn the outline of the handle on the scales and drilled where the holes will go.

I've used a dremel wheel (hence the burn marks) to rough-cut the handle, inserted pins, applied epoxy and it's now clamped and drying. Notice I did shape the end of the scales where they point to the blade.

What it looks like after the epoxy has dried and is out of the vice.

Pins cut down and starting to clean up the surface.

After final shaping. Afterwards I sprayed wood with sealer, buffed off and waxed with gun stock bees wax.

Ohhh, wondering about the blade? Just a little holographic designing I accidentally came up with. It really does look 3-D.
