The blade and the scales of Bloodwood. At this point I've just drawn
the outline of the handle on the scales and drilled where the holes will
go. |

I've used a dremel wheel (hence the burn marks) to rough-cut the
handle, inserted pins, applied epoxy and it's now clamped and drying.
Notice I did shape the end of the scales where they point to the blade. |

What it looks like after the epoxy has dried and is out of the vice. |

Pins cut down and starting to clean up the surface. |

Most of handle has been shaped with a dremel. |

After final shaping. Afterwards I sprayed wood with sealer, buffed off
and waxed with gun stock bees wax. |

Ohhh, wondering about the blade? Just a little holographic designing I accidentally
came up with. It really does look 3-D. |
